Self-email verification can be considered dangerous because it relies on the assumption that the person providing the email address is the legitimate owner of that address. However, in reality, anyone can enter any email address, including those that do not belong to them. This can lead to unauthorized access to accounts or services, as well as potential security breaches. Therefore, it is important to use additional verification methods, such as two-factor authentication, to ensure the security of online accounts and services. **

Instead, they rely on other methods such as phone verification or CAPTCHA to ensure the security of the account. This helps prevent potential issues with email delivery or spam filters that could prevent users from successfully verifying their accounts. Additionally, it helps reduce the likelihood of users encountering technical difficulties during the registration process. **
